Dear Colleagues and Well-Wishers,
Warm greetings to you and your families on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.
I am pleased to inform you that our Indian skaters have recently made the nation proud by winning medals at the World & Asian Championship.
In light of this outstanding achievement, I request all State Associations to proactively identify and recommend deserving athletes from your state for the prestigious Arjuna Award.
A special effort is requested from the states of Tamilnadu, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, as the medal-winning skaters from the recent World Championship belong to these three states.
Furthermore, all other State Associations are also encouraged to identify and motivate their athletes who have won medals at the Asian Championship and have delivered an outstanding performance at the international level over the last three to four years to apply for the Arjuna Award.
