*Dear Coaches and Referees,*
*This is to bring to your notice that certain unauthorized individuals, including elements from Visakhapatnam, are organizing a fake and unsanctioned championship in Kolkata, West Bengal, under the guise of an “Open National” event.*
Please be clearly informed that this championship has no connection whatsoever with the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI). It is not recognized by the Federation, nor is it part of the official RSFI calendar.
*It has been reported that cash payments (₹1,000–₹1,500 per participant) are being collected from children in the name of this fraudulent event. **The RSFI never accepts or authorizes any cash payment for any championship.*
*Furthermore, it has come to our attention that certain individuals are attempting to misguide people by writing the names of the RSFI Vice President and other dignitaries on their fake communications, without any permission or information*—a practice they have consistently followed. You are therefore advised not to pay any heed to such misleading letters and emails.
*DIRECTIONS FOR ALL COACHES AND REFEREES:*
1. Do not participate, associate, or engage in this unauthorized championship in any capacity — whether as a coach, referee, organizer, volunteer, or supporter.
2. Do not send any skaters under your coaching to this event.
3. Do not accept any role (even remotely, including online or virtual involvement) in the conduct of this championship.
4. Do not collect or facilitate any cash payment related to this event.
*WARNING:*
*If any referee or coach is found involved in this fake championship — directly or indirectly — they shall be suspended without prior notice and blacklisted by the Federation*. This applies regardless of the capacity in which they are found, even if only for a single day or even as spectator.
*The Federation will take strict action without any hesitation against any registered coach or referee of the RSFI found in any way associated with such championships. We will no longer tolerate such misconduct and filth for any longer period.*
You are advised to remain vigilant and to rely only on official communications issued by the RSFI through its verified website, official email ID, and recognized social media channels
*Let us collectively protect the integrity of our sport and safeguard our skaters from such fraudulent activities.*
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
