World Skate Games 2026: Rink Action Intensifies, Strategic Asian Championship Talks, & Team Safety Update!

a) Thrilling Battles on the Hockey Rink: Today saw intense, high-octane match-ups for our hockey squads. In Roller Hockey, the India Junior Boys’ Team put up a spirited fight against a strong France lineup, while our Senior Girls’ Team faced a formidable opponent in Portugal. Over on the Inline Hockey rink, our Junior Boys’ Team went head-to-head with our traditional Asian rivals, South Korea, in a thoroughly exhilarating, nail-biting encounter.
b) Inline Downhill Concludes: The Inline Downhill events have officially drawn to a close. Our lone warrior in this category successfully wrapped up his campaign, solidifying his heroic performance with a definitive Top 20 World Ranking.
c) Precision Training: Maintaining their sharp focus, our Inline Freestyle skaters successfully took to the venue today, maximizing their allotted practice slots to fine-tune their routines for upcoming events.
d) Strategic Roadmap for the Asian Championship: On the administrative front, I held extensive and highly productive discussions with delegates and officials from World Skate and World Skate Asia regarding the 21st Asian Roller Skating Championship, which is slated to be hosted in India next year.
e) Developing Downhill in India: I also visited the official Inline Downhill championship venue to meet with Mr. David, the Chairman of the World Skate Inline Downhill Committee. I briefed him comprehensively on the growing ecosystem back home and explored strategic pathways for the long-term development of this high-speed discipline in India.
f) Important Weather & Safety Update: Last night, the local weather took a sudden and severe turn, bringing a massive hailstorm that caused noticeable damage across the city. Please rest assured that our entire contingent is completely safe and secure inside our hotel. We are keeping a very close watch on the weather situation, and the team’s spirits remain entirely unaffected.
