It gives us immense pleasure to share that the 8th National Roller Skating Ranking Championship (Speed Skating), currently being held in Peruvambur, Kerala, is emerging as one of the most grand, disciplined, and well-executed national level events organized under the aegis of RSFI. The event is being hosted by the Kerala Roller Skating Association, *under the inspirational leadership and tireless efforts of Shri Sebastian Prem Ji, one of the most sincere and dedicated members of our Family. *

What truly stands out in this championship is not just the structure and facilities—which remain in line with RSFI standards—but the extraordinary coordination, precision in execution, and deep commitment visible at every level. The positive feedback and appreciation being received from across the country are unprecedented. Participants, coaches, and officials alike are united in their praise for the seamless management and top-class hospitality, stating that this championship has set a new benchmark of excellence.

We are also extremely proud to announce that this championship has seen the highest number of entries this year—over 1450 skaters, making it not only a logistical success but also a symbolic one for the growing popularity of our sport. Providing such a massive platform with uncompromised quality and care is a truly commendable achievement.

Behind this exceptional success stands the silent yet powerful presence of Shri Sebastian Prem Ji, Sri Shri B. Venkitanarayanan a senior RSFI functionary whose dedication to the sport, humble personality, and action-driven approach have made this event possible. He speaks little, but his work speaks volumes—earning him the admiration and gratitude of all. Words fall short when it comes to expressing our appreciation for his leadership and execution.

As the championship formally commenced today with the beginning of two days of practice sessions and the Coaches & Managers’ Meeting, we are also sharing a few glimpses and photos from the venue for your kind reference and encouragement.
