Update on the Indian Team at the Speed Skating World Championship in China.
My Dear Colleagues and Well-wishers,
We are pleased to inform you that the Indian speed skating team has arrived safely in China for the Speed Skating World Championship.
The team is settled in the official accommodation, and all players have acclimatized well.
Our Indian players have been practicing under the supervision of their coach over the last three days. The Indian team’s practice session was conducted with the group containing Poland, Switzerland, Portugal, and Japan.
Our team officials have also participated in the technical officials’ meeting.
We are proud to share that our Indian team players overall currently ranked 9th to 19th among the top 40 countries participating in this championship. This is a moment of great pride for us.
The championship events have now commenced. This morning, all of our players who participated in their races have qualified for the finals. Their final races will be held this evening. We are hopeful of sharing good news with you all later today.
