Dear Champions and Supporters,
I am incredibly thrilled to bring you the latest exciting updates directly from the ground here in Asunción, Paraguay, as our championship campaign reaches full strength!
Here are the key highlights from today’s major developments:
a) Complete Indian Contingent Assembled: The final group of the Indian delegation has safely arrived in Paraguay! This group includes athletes from the Senior Men’s Inline Hockey team, Junior Girls’ Inline Hockey team, Roller Freestyle team, and Inline Slalom team. With their arrival, the entire Indian team is now fully assembled for the World Skate Games 2026. The newly arrived members successfully checked into the hotel and immediately visited the venue for their introductory training sessions.
b) Weather Disruptions for Inline Slalom: Due to relentless, continuous rainfall from early morning until the afternoon, today’s scheduled outdoor practice session for the Inline Slalom athletes unfortunately could not make it.
c) Speed Skating Training Continues: Maintaining their fierce momentum, the Speed Skating team athletes successfully hit the track once again today, executing another intense and highly productive practice session.
d) Spectacular Victory on the Hockey Rink: The Roller and Inline Hockey matches are progressing beautifully according to their pre-determined schedules. In a high-octane encounter today, our Junior Boys’ Team faced off against Chile and secured a phenomenal victory, showcasing incredible grit and precision under pressure!
The full power of Team India is now on the ground, the matches are intensifying, and our collective spirits have never been higher. Let us keep the prayers, positive energy, and loudest cheers flowing for our athletes!
