Dear Champions and Supporters,
I am absolutely thrilled and proud to bring you the latest, highly exciting updates directly from the ground here in Asunción, Paraguay!
After the recent weather disruptions, the skies cleared up nicely this evening, allowing the event organizers to successfully resume and conduct several scheduled competitive events.
Here are the monumental highlights from today’s developments: • Bronze Medal Glory in Speed Skating: It is a moment of immense pride for our nation to witness the incredible hard work and relentless dedication of our athletes bearing fruit on the global stage. In a spectacular display of speed and grit, Velu Anand Kumar put up a phenomenal performance to clinch the Bronze Medal in the highly competitive 500+ D Race today!
• Historic Milestone Reached: We are overjoyed to share that this spectacular victory brings India’s total medal tally in Speed Skating to two medals at this championship! This is a monumental milestone for our rollersports ecosystem, and looking at the high spirits of our contingent, we are highly confident that many more medals are on the horizon.
• Roller Hockey Team Safely Home: On the logistical front, we are happy to inform everyone that our Roller Hockey team has wrapped up its campaign and has safely landed back in India, sound and secure.
The momentum is strongly back in our favor, and our skaters are giving everything to keep the Indian flag flying high. We will continue to bring you live, day-to-day updates as the remaining action unfolds!
